About me

• I was born in Portland, Oregon, 22. June 1967 and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1990, B.A. in East Asian Studies
• I am currently working in Bratislava, Slovakia as a freelance English language teacher
• Besides teaching and writing, I love biking and hiking, as well as music (including the saxophone, ukulele, and guitar), films, literature, cooking, and history. I have a decent-sized collection of rare 78 rpm phonograph records in Oregon. 
• I had one book published in 2006, The Neighborhood Watch Club (under the name CK Triplett).
• I live in Bratislava with my wife Zuza and our four cats Mischa, Ufo, Marley, and Nelson.
